Angel Casal — Actor & Theatre Director

I’m Angel Casal, a performer, theatre director, and casting professional with over 24 years of experience across South America and Europe. Based in Estonia, I bring a broad background in acting, stage direction, and production management to creative projects on stage and on camera.

Experience & Background

My career began in Argentina’s vibrant theatre scene, where I spent over a decade performing before stepping behind the scenes to direct. Since then, my work has expanded into modeling, stage management, set design, and dance.

Recently, I directed the hit production "SHOWTIME" at Free Flow Studio in Tallinn—a large-scale stage show inspired by The Greatest Showman, bringing together singers, actors, and dancers from across the studio.

Alongside my own creative work, I’m part of the casting team at Talentos, an Estonian casting agency, where I help connect directors and production teams with talent for film, commercial, and stage projects.

Training & Philosophy

I started acting at 16 and have been learning ever since. Over the years, I've trained with instructors across Argentina, Uruguay, France, the US, and Estonia (including Alice Aleksandridi), and I studied Stage Direction at the Universidad Nacional de las Artes (UNA) in Buenos Aires.

For me, the best work comes from creating a supportive, energetic environment where performers feel free to take risks and enjoy the process. Whether working with actors in a rehearsal room or models on set, my goal is always to bring out genuine, compelling work.
